Meet the Collective

Nicole Hamilton

Director at Moon River Yoga Collective E-RYT200, YACEP Yogabird Studios, Adaptive Yoga Northwest

Hi! I’m Nicole. I teach yoga to groups, and individuals, I lead teacher trainings and continuing education programming and am the Director of Moon River Yoga Collective.

My style of teaching is steady, functional and energetically focused. My goal is to help facilitate the ‘ah-ha!’ moments in class. I love learning about the energetic systems in the body and how to read and understand that energy. I love helping others do the same. I seek guidance in tarot cards, charge crystals on the full moon and study astrology to better understand our universe (or at least my part in it).

Whether you are interested in practicing or teaching yoga, getting a tarot reading or deep diving into astrology, I’d love to connect!

Star Kolb

E-RYT500, Sundari Yoga

As a Montana raised lady, Star Kolb was instantly captivated by Moab and the red rocks upon her arrival in the late nineties.  She found herself discovering a whole new landscape, outside and in!  Star was introduced to meditation and mantra by dear friends in this dynamic community.  That was the beginning of her formal exploration of the mind and body.

Star felt a pull to travel farther and while living in Venice Beach, CA she began studying hatha yoga with Peter Sterios, Levityoga (2004).  It was Peter who told her she would teach yoga.  Hearing those words and knowing the profound impact yoga had on her life and body–Star is fused nearly the entire length of her spine, including several metal rods, due to scoliosis—she knew it was time to deepen her studies.

Star began teaching yoga in 2008, teaching classes in mountain town halls, ocean community centers, fitness gyms, yoga studios, online, offices and in homes…no space too small or large.

Star’s classes focus on slowing down, developing stability and strength, while refining alignment and breath. She is in love with yoga props!!

Amanda Gray

Arches Yoga

Amanda Gray is a yoga instructor with ten years of teaching experience. She discovered yoga in 2011 and immediately felt its power to bring both emotional and physical balance. That experience sparked her commitment to study and eventually share the practice with others. Amanda trained under Natasha Rizopolous of Down Under Yoga in Boston, whose focus on alignment and accessibility continues to shape her teaching. Her classes blend clear alignment cues, a sense of play, and a deep respect for each student’s individual experience. She teaches a range of styles—from vinyasa flow to restorative—and is a certified pre-natal yoga instructor with over 500 hours of training and certifications. Amanda is dedicated to honoring yoga’s sacred roots while creating inclusive spaces for all students. She’s especially interested in yoga philosophy, diversity, and the intersection of mindfulness and social awareness. Off the mat, Amanda is a writer who finds joy in live music, travel, reading, and connecting with her community through yoga.
